Computing

Computing is about more than learning how computers work – it’s about giving students the confidence to use technology effectively in school, in work and in everyday life. Our curriculum focusses on practical, transferable skills that prepare students for a digital future.

Computing empowers students to understand, use and shape the digital world around them. It underpins learning across the curriculum and equips students with the digital confidence and problem-solving skills needed for education, employment and everyday life.

A high-quality computing education develops computational thinking alongside practical digital literacy. Students learn how digital systems work, how to manage and communicate information effectively, and how technology impacts individuals, communities and society.

At our school, Computing is delivered through an inclusive and practical curriculum that prioritises transferable skills, creativity and confidence.
