Enrichment Opportunities

Winifred Holtby Academy offers a range of extra-curricular activities open to all pupils, which take place at the end of the Academy day (2.50pm), at weekends and during the holiday periods. By participating in these activities, considerable benefits are gained by pupils and the working relationships between pupils and teachers are greatly enhanced.

If as a Parent/Carer you wish to enhance the offering provided by the Academy, please feel free to contact Anita Hoy on the Academy number (01482) 826207 (ext 6032).

Our school has signed up to the ‘No Limits’ programme, which gives us the chance to offer opportunities to our pupils that they wouldn’t normally get. We have a group of pupils currently working with an Author in Residence on a weekly basis with the aim of creating an Anthology and another two groups are working with the ‘My Pockets’ company on a puppet project, which has really got their imaginations fired up.
