Mental Wellbeing

At WHA we promote mental wellbeing, which includes both how people feel – their emotions and life satisfaction – and their life circumstances. Meaningful relationships with staff and peers improve our pupils’ personal control over decisions which affect themselves on their journey through Academy life.

We have councillors and dedicated support teams such as the Link who work with our pupils on a daily basis evoking positive relationships. In addition, our teachers are dedicated to giving pupils the best guidance and mentoring possible, enhancing a positive classroom atmosphere to improve pupils’ everyday wellbeing and increase resilience.
