On Friday we took 32 pupils to London for a residential stay and to explore the Art exhibitions in the country’s finest galleries. Whilst in London we visited The Tower of London, Hard Rock Café, The National Portrait gallery, Covent Gardens, Piccadilly Circus, Tate Britain and London’s west end to watch The Woman in Black.
The pupils were perfectly behaved, sensible, hard working with the tasks given and a credit to the Academy whilst on the trip. There were some very comical moments, some really good artwork produced in the galleries, some brilliant questions asked and a perfect balance between fun and learning.
Everyone enjoyed it so much that I feel this may be an annual trip with the year tens and each year we will get more and more on board.
