Learning via stage, not age.
In the Hub we are proud of our creative curriculum, which draws together many areas of the national curriculum into a series of exciting topics. Our bespoke, differentiated curriculum, which includes pre-teaching, overlearning, concrete examples, visual support, and experiential learning across many subjects is designed to raise achievement and ambition, and encourage creativity and independence. As the students’ progress through the topics, they can build on and develop a varied and important range of skills. We believe that immersing students in their learning is the best way to truly involve and inspire them and encourage them to take ownership of their learning. Our intent, that our students will leave school prepared, knowledgeable, confident, independent and motivated for life’s journey, is central to guiding and forming the curriculum for our students.
