Business studies help students to understand how the world of work operates and equips them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to make informed choices as consumers, employees and entrepreneurs.
Business education enables students to develop an understanding of how businesses operate in a local, national and global context. Students explore how organisations are set up, how they make decisions, and how they respond to challenges such as competition, finance and customer needs.
Through an inclusive and practical curriculum, students develop transferable skills including decision-making, communication, financial awareness and evaluation. Business supports literacy, numeracy and cultural capital by encouraging students to engage with real-world issues and apply their learning to realistic scenarios.
