Hello, my name is Miss Dolan and I am the House Leader for Riseholme House.
I work with pupils in years 7 to 11, I really enjoy my work it is varied and interesting, as part of my role I am here to help and support you with any questions or queries and help to alleviate any worries you may have regardless of big or small giving you reassurance and understanding, I can also help you to make new friends and support with friendship fallouts if they occur.
There are lots of opportunities to engage in exciting activities there are regular house competitions which are great fun, we have amazing after school clubs you can join too such as; Drama, Music, Dance and we also have an awesome PE department, if sport is your thing maybe you could join the Football, Rugby or Netball team all of these are a great way to make new friends whilst enjoying the activities you like.
I have worked with some amazing pupils over the years who have tried their best and gone on to achieve great things in their future and one day not too far away this will be you. Hard work and determination are key for you to be able to reach your goals and achieve great things but most of all, believe in yourself this will enable you to follow your dreams and be whatever you want to be in your future as extraordinary people achieve extraordinary things. I am looking forward to meeting you all and making your journey through Winifred Holtby Academy as incredible as possible with lots of great memories for you to take away from your school years with us.
I have worked for Winifred Holtby Academy for 8 years I really enjoy working here and the staff are very helpful and friendly. When I am not at work I like to keep myself fit when I have time I enjoy power walking, I also enjoy listening to a wide range of music and I love travelling I have been to some amazing Countries and visited some wonderful places.
See you all in September…
